Active Balance About Me |
|
I was born and raised in Redding, California and have been involved in sports, fitness and health care for most of my life. My Dad has always influenced my younger brother and I to eat right, work out and be active. If I wasn’t playing sports in school, I was in the stands watching. My entire family loves sports, playing and watching, and would probably disown me if I wasn’t a 49er fan!!I have known that I wanted to be involved in the health care and fitness industry since I was a kid. The human body and how it moves and functions has always been fascinating to me. I started out by becoming a personal trainer in 1999, helping people with their weight and nutritional goals. I then realized how rewarding this kind of career can truly be, but I wanted to be able to help these individuals to a higher extent. I wanted to be able to help with their biomechanical weaknesses to extend the benefits of training. I needed to help these clients in a deeper and more physical sense. That is where Chiropractic came into the picture. Not only could I help people become more physically fit and healthier overall, I could help them to do it in their ideal alignment, form and health.
